Kathy Tippe (Wild Geese Expressions) has always been creating and connecting with nature in her practices of expressing, nurturing, and exploring her Self. This way of being helps make sense of life challenges and honours all that is within and around her so that she can readily share with others. Kathy is a woman, an explorer, and a curious Compassionate. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, friend, social worker, coach, mentor, and artist. Over time, these parts have integrated and brought her to a place of being Certified in Expressive Arts facilitating, coaching, and counselling. equipping her to companion you in healing, self-care, and creative joy. Expressive arts is for everyone; we are all creative beings.
Michelle and Sandra, spiritual directors with Still Lake Listening, offer listening companionship for people seeking a deeper understanding of Self and Soul. The term spiritual “director” is a misnomer as they do not direct. Rather, they come alongside you as co-learners as you explore the intersection of your identity and spirituality.
Their practice is to companion you through open, non-judgmental, and curious questions.
They are not personally aligned with any religious or political institution or agenda. They understand that we are all Humans Becoming.
9:00 – 11:30am – Arrival and first session with Allison exploring the magic and wonder of children’s literature: Allison will guide us in a conversation about how stories have formed, comforted, and inspired us. Bring your favourite book from your own childhood, if you like. There will be space and time to explore our own stories of struggle, resilience, joy, and growth during this time.
11:30am – 1:00pm – Picnic snack, space and time to experience the grounds, the river, or one-on-one sessions with Michelle or Sandra. Time to just be silent. Time to be with your own wild and wondering self. If you feel like you will need more than the snack station to get you through to dinner at 4:00, please feel free to bring a little extra something for yourself!
1:00 – 4:00pm – Experiential arts session with Kathy: Kathy will guide us in exploring a labyrinth, being with our own stories in deepening ways, and creating a take-home expression of what comes alive in us through the day.
4:00 pm – Dinner!
5:00 – 6:30 pm – Sending session with Michelle & Sandra: A check-in about what the day has been like for each of us. We will wonder together if there may be some things that we can unburden, or lay down, as a result of the day; we will wonder together about what we might be taking forward with us.
