This tiered fee structure allows clients to select a rate that aligns with their financial situation:

I know my bottle is full up if…
- I am comfortably able to meet all of my basic* needs
- I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs
- I own my home or property OR I rent a higher-end property
- I own or lease a car
- I am employed or do not need to work to meet my needs
- I have regular access to health care
- I have access to financial savings
- I have an expendable** income
- I can always buy new items
- I can afford an annual vacation or take time off
- I can afford to offer $120.00 per session without hardship
- I would even consider paying a little more if it opened up space for those who cannot pay to have a session
*Basic Needs include food, housing, health care, and transportation
**Expendable Income might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.

When your bottles are all completely empty
Some have asked how they can support us even when they cannot pay dollars and cents. If this is you…
Two ways that help others borrow courage when considering their own care:
1) Google Maps reviews! If you feel like you can whole-heartedly offer a 5 star review just click the link and offer feedback there. That really helps build our local practice. Thank you!
2) Word of mouth referral. Most spiritual direction practice grows best through sharing. If you are experiencing growth and connection here, we’d love for you to tell a friend, or two. Thank you!
One way that helps us keep the lights on:
If all of that sounds like so much effort, and you’d rather help us buy tea and tissues, we welcome your financial gift. You can simply e-transfer that to still.lake.listening@gmail.com, or send through PayPal.
The bottom line…
This adaptable method thrives on trust. We trust you to be honest in your assessment of your economic reality. This has been such helpful language to learn on our own journey! We are two gals of a certain age who are passionate about this heartwork, and “How do I pay” is a necessary part of the conversation. Thank you for taking time to explore this part of the practice of spiritual care with us here. Your curiosities and concerns are welcome, and we look forward to listening with you!
